Turtle Beach March (2020) ~1.5 Minutes

The piece is based on the incredible journey of sea turtle hatchlings, who break out of their nests on sandy beaches and head to the ocean under the moonlight. Very similar to the young band students starting their adventure in performing music. The piece uses a spirited march theme to express the turtle's resolve and vigor. The piece ends with a victorious coda commemorating the turtles' arrival at their new home. Turtle Beach March is for young budding performers and only uses the first six notes! Great for the first concert of the year!
