Composed for the Siesta Brass Quintet (Sarasota, Florida) in Early 2021, Single Malt Fanfare features a noble theme sandwiched between a powerful fanfare. This work features all performers through its poignant themes and athletic flourishes. The opening performance note, "stately, but not too full of itself," nods to the Siesta brass' talent at both antics and performance. As its title suggests, the Single Malt Fanfare guarantees a decadent delight for all attending.
