Knight’s Hymn was Commissioned by Keys Gate Charter High School under the direction of Jessica Amores-Gennaro Diaz. Originally written as the school's song. In a tribute to its mascot, the knight, the piece demonstrates the knight's pride in their values of honor, courage, and loyalty. The piece is written in a professional style, which is intended to accompany a ceremonial march or entrance. The piece begins with a majestic fanfare that introduces the main theme. This hymn-like melody evokes a sense of nobility and pride. The theme is then developed and varied throughout the piece. The piece's conclusion features a triumphant return of the theme, creating a grand finale that celebrates the spirit of the knights.
